Sara M. Braun is an associate with Donahue Gallagher Woods LLP, specializing in immigration and nationality law, intellectual property law and civil litigation.

Ms. Braun’s experience in the firm’s immigration and nationality law practice encompasses a variety of matters including employment-based visas, alien employment certification for permanent residency, consular processing, family immigration matters and naturalization. Her experience as a member of the firm's intellectual property group includes copyright infringement litigation and negotiating settlements of claims relating to illegal use of software products. Ms. Braun also handles commercial litigation.

Ms. Braun received her law degree in 2001 from King Hall, University of California at Davis, where she was a member of the U.C. Davis Law Review. While in law school, she worked as a judicial extern to the Honorable Charles A. Legge, U.S. District Judge for the Northern District of California. Ms. Braun received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of California at San Diego in 1994. Prior to law school, she lived in St. Petersburg, Russia for four years, working at the United States Consulate General.

Ms. Braun is a member of the State Bar of California, the Alameda County Bar Association and the American Immigration Lawyers Association. She is a 2004 recipient of the Wiley W. Manuel Pro Bono Services Award from the State Bar of California for her provision of pro bono legal services to the poor.  Ms. Braun is fluent in Russian.
