Lydia A. Ochoa is of counsel with Donahue Gallagher Woods LLP, where she specializes in intellectual property law, with emphasis on negotiating the settlement of claims relating to illegal use of software products.  Prior to joining the firm in 1993, Ms. Ochoa practiced employment and commercial litigation at a major San Francisco law firm.  She also practiced in the litigation department of the Office of the City Attorney for the City of Oakland.

Ms. Ochoa was a law clerk for the Honorable Hayden W. Head, Jr. in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas from 1984 to 1987.  Ms. Ochoa received her law degree from The University of Texas School of Law in 1984 and her Bachelor of Arts degree from Duke University.  Ms. Ochoa is a member of the State Bars of California and Texas.
